Can be healing
Is healthier than anything else you have ever eaten

You feel passionate about the positive health and environmental benefits of eating vegan food and you really want to be able to show people how incredibly delicious vegan food is.

Which is why you know you want to become a plant-based chef!

If you were a vegan chef, you can share your food, recipes and guidance with clients, loved ones, customers and friends.

Dreaming of

Or even just cook really awesome food for yourself

but

all the mainstream channels for becoming a chef just aren’t for you.

They require you to cook meat and show that you can debone a cow in order to follow your passion of becoming a chef.

Or if they do offer a vegan module amongst all the meat cooking modules it’s far from comprehensive and not delivered by a vegan chef who knows vegan food inside out.

There is no way in the world you can do that because your values just won’t stand for it.

On top of that you want to learn the nutritional side of cooking, not just how to cook.

You want to learn the skills and techniques to ensure plant-based meals taste sensational, every single time you cook.

And you don’t want to have to study full-time to become a qualified vegan chef.

You want and know you need to become the best vegan chef you can be, in order to cook and help others realise how incredible vegan food is.

You know there’s got to be a better solution.

And yes there is!

It’s called The Vegan Chef Training

I created the vegan chef training in 2015 because 10 years earlier I was in your shoes
I wanted to cook for others
I wanted to show people how healthy plant based food was
I dreamed of helping people create meals where
they didn’t have to eat animals in order to be healthy and thrive.

I taught myself and used my skills of being a primary school teacher to set up systems to be a really incredible chef
I cooked for hundreds if not thousands of people every year for 13 years and amazed people with how sensational vegan food could be.

Then I realised there needed to be a training that accommodated people wanting to be vegan chefs.
So I used those school teaching skills to develop an incredible course with a fantastic syllabus that would assist people to be the best vegan chefs they could be. Then I added to this and obtained a degree in nutrition in 2022.

The Vegan Chef training has been running since 2015 and has seen over 40 people graduate and go on to do incredible things.

“The amount of skills and knowledge we learnt in the training, was the equivalent of years of knowledge for me, without lacking any information! I’ve loved being taught by Veet this year, she is such a knowledgeable down to earth woman, and she is always there for any questions. I would 100% recommend doing this course, it has benefitted not just my nutrition knowledge, but the skills I will need to one day open up my own catering or food related business.”

This was a working kitchen

“It is safe to say that Module 1 course exceeded my expectations. Veet was so generous when sharing her experiences, tips and creativity – we truly felt a part of her world! Although each student had their own specific goals, Veet was able to weave the course content to suit these individual needs, and everyone contributed to the delicious meals. This was a working kitchen – busy, focused and time-based – goals were set and roles were clear. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from Veet, as well as the other students on the course, and am more confident than ever to start my own vegan restaurant.”

Food is medicine & medicine is food

“As Hippocrates said many years ago ‘Food is thy medicine and medicine is thy food.’ The vegan cooking school uses that as the basis of all cooking, theory and practice. Veet teaches in a professional, caring way. I have come away from each module with incredible experiences, recipes and knowledge.”
