Learn the foundations of cooking Vegan food
This course gets you into the kitchen and learning in a hands-on setting where all the overwhelm will disappear.
I will guide you into cooking truly delicious plant based food which takes into account all of the nutritional needs your body requires for maximum health.
I am here to help you.
Would you like to add more plant based food into your diet but feel overwhelmed by what to cook and confused by all the information out there?
Is it a struggle to know what to make that is plant based? When you do find a recipe are you concerned that the meal won’t have all the essential nutrients you need to stay healthy?
It’s not easy to tell what recipes are actually going to be good on the internet or what nutritional information to follow with the myriad of fad diets and ideas out there.
It’s understandable that you may have tried to adopt a plant based diet but just given up because it has all seemed too hard.
Or maybe your loved ones want to give it a go but you don’t know how to support them.
Or your loved ones aren’t on the same page as you in wanting to add more plant based food into your diet, making it difficult to prioritise yourself and then you just give up and make what they want to eat.
If any of this is feeling familiar then I have good news……
You will be making food choices that will also accommodate all your family’s needs as well as your own. By the end of the course you will feel confident in being able to cook plant based food that is delicious and have the ability to make food choices that support your life.

How to convert any recipe to vegan
“After completing Veet's vegan foundation cooking course, I have come away knowing how to thriftily convert any recipe into an excellent vegan version.
Veet was formerly a popular vegetarian caterer for high end Byron shire retreats. Now a vegan and qualified nutritionist, Veet advances vegan nutrition awareness in Northern NSW and well beyond. I can so recommend her great value 3 day kitchen experience offered with awesome stamina and enthusiasm from her well appointed domestic base in the Tweed”

Yes. There are 3 local people who offer rooms in their houses that are offered at a weekly rate. These places are lovely places to arrive home to each afternoon after cooking all day.
Absolutely. There is no compromise on this.
Absolutely. It is wonderful when we cater for different dietary requirements as it demonstrates how easy it is to cook for individual differences.
Absolutely. While the majority of the course is hands on learning, it is entirely up to you how you choose to learn in this space. If you need to use your iPad/tablet to jot down notes or watch from a lounge chair instead of being hands on that is absolutely fine.

Veet's generous and enthusiastic teaching style
“Veet is passionate, professional and packs a punch when it comes to her knowledge and skill in the kitchen. I especially liked how we made food for everyday, along with sweet treats and for special occasions. This along with Veet’s generous and enthusiastic teaching style made the 3 days fly. Throughout the course, she was always happy to answer our questions and help us stay grounded and calm in the process. Sitting down daily to eat our creations at a beautifully set table with a magnificent mountain view was icing on the (vegan) cake!"
